With Crumbs Bake Shop abruptly shuttering all of its stores across the nation, we are left to wonder if this is the beginning of the end for the great cupcake era.  Love them or hate them, the ridiculously priced $3.50 single serving treat captured the hearts (and stomachs) of millions over the last few years. For now, Magnolia Bakery in the West Village, where the cupcake big bang likely started thanks to Andy Samberg and Chris Parnell, still stands, and still serves up "all the bomb frosting":
