Gonzaga Basketball is a major player in the Final Four

With years of heartbreak, close calls and near misses it has finally happened for the Zags! Gonzaga is moving on to the Final Four after defeating the Xavier Muskateers 83-59 in the Elite Eight of the 2017 NCAA Tournament. The Zags have long since been derided as JUST a “mid-major” but this year Gonzaga has proven that is simply not the case.

Basketball legend and commentator once said Bill Walton said:

Gonzaga plays in a truck stop conference. Mop up Sisters of the Poor. (The Pac 12) is the conference of champions."

The Zags dominated their way to a number 1 seed in this NCAA Tournament. After a couple of weeks of March Madness the Zags knocked off Xavier, West Virginia, Northwestern, and South Dakota State to reach their first ever Final Four in program history. I think it is safe to say Gonzaga is suited for more than Mop up duty at the truck stop.

Gonzaga will have a week off before heading down to Phoenix to take on the winner of South Carolina and Florida. Gonzaga has already defeated the Gators this season 77-72 at the Advocare Invitational.

Needless to say Gonzaga fans are elated and ready to celebrate. Now you can too with the Major Player shirt from Breaking T.

The shirt features red and white print on an ultra-soft, vintage heather navy blue tee. It has an Athletic fit; made from a super-comfortable, vintage-inspired blend of 60% combed ringspun cotton and 40% polyester jersey and is screen printed in the good 'ol USA.
