John Wall Makes 4th NBA-All Star game

John Wall just might be the best point guard in the NBA. Wall went on ESPN’s First Take and was asked point blank who the NBA’s best point guard was and without hesitation Wall answered: “Me”. Wall may have just been talking a big game on TV, but there is solid evidence that the 4-time NBA All-Star may be the best point guard in the league.

John Wall’s stats seem to back up his assertions as he is having the best season of his career in the NBA. Wall is averaging 22.8 points per game, 10.6 assists, .812 free throw percentage and .452% from the field all of which are career bests for Wall. NBA legend Steph Curry has comparable numbers in those categories but Wall outclasses Curry and other great Point Guards on the defensive side of the ball. Wall also leads the entire NBA in Assists this season.

Wall certainly seems to be a better all around player on both sides of the ball than the rest of the point guards in the league which would go a long way toward explaining why he was selected to appear in his fourth NBA All-Star game representing the Washington Wizards. It also earned him a spot in Saturday night’s skills competition.

John Wall-Star

Wall’s accolades are not just statistical they are also historical as he recently won Player of the Month in December 2016 and Wall is the first Washington player in about 4 decades to go to 4 straight NBA All-Star games.

Oh and of course there is the classic John Wall Song called ‘Do the John Wall’ by Troop 41:
