Week 3 Fantasy Football Rankings: Top 10 at Each Position

Week 3 Fantasy Football Rankings: Top 10 at Each Position

Looking for a fantasy football week 3 primer for the best options at each position? We've curated our top 10 Week 3 fantasy football rankings for QB, RB, WR, and TE below (assuming half-point (.5) PPR scoring).

Quarterback Week 3 Rankings

1. Josh Allen (BUF vs. JAC)

Allen is heating up after a slow start. Facing Jacksonville's defense, Allen’s combination of arm strength and rushing ability makes him a must-start QB1.

2. Lamar Jackson (BAL at DAL)

Jackson’s dual-threat ability will be critical in what could be a fast-paced game against Dallas. He’s a top option, especially if he can break off a few big runs.

3. Jalen Hurts (PHI at NO)

Hurts continues to be a consistent dual-threat QB. New Orleans’ defense is formidable, but Hurts' red-zone rushing opportunities keep him in the top tier.

4. Patrick Mahomes (KC at ATL)

Even in a road matchup, Mahomes remains a set-and-forget QB. Expect him to shred the Falcons’ secondary, as this game could turn into a shootout.

5. Kyler Murray (ARI vs. DET)

Murray’s rushing upside keeps him high in the rankings. While the Lions' defense has been solid, Murray's ability to extend plays and find the end zone makes him a solid start.

6. Joe Burrow (CIN vs. WAS)

Burrow faces Washington’s defense, and while they can pressure the QB, Burrow’s chemistry with Ja’Marr Chase should boost his production this week.

7. Jayden Daniels (WAS at CIN)

Daniels has been a pleasant surprise with his rushing floor and timely throws. This matchup against Cincinnati gives him a chance to continue his breakout.

8. Anthony Richardson (IND vs. CHI)

Richardson's rushing gives him a solid weekly floor, and against a weak Bears defense, he should find success both through the air and on the ground.

9. Brock Purdy (SF at LAR)

Purdy has been efficient, and against the Rams, he has the opportunity for a strong fantasy day. With weapons like George Kittle and Deebo Samuel, he’s a safe option.

10. Dak Prescott (DAL vs. BAL)

Prescott is a volatile option but has a high ceiling in what could be a high-scoring affair against Baltimore. His chemistry with CeeDee Lamb gives him big-play potential.

11-20: Derek Carr, Matthew Stafford, Caleb Williams, Geno Smith, Trevor Lawrence, Deshaun Watson, Justin Fields, Baker Mayfield, Jared Goff

Running Back Week 3 Rankings

1. Bijan Robinson (ATL vs. KC)

Robinson has emerged as the go-to back in Atlanta and has an excellent matchup against the Chiefs. His dual-threat ability as a runner and receiver makes him a top RB1.

2. Breece Hall (NYJ vs. NE)

Hall’s big-play potential makes him a strong option, even against a tougher Patriots defense. He’s been explosive and should be the focal point of the Jets' offense.

3. Saquon Barkley (PHI at NO)

Barkley continues to be a bell-cow back for the Eagles. Though the Saints have a strong run defense, Barkley’s volume keeps him as an elite RB1 option.

4. Alvin Kamara (NO vs. PHI)

Kamara’s receiving work gives him a safe floor. In what could be a close game, expect him to get plenty of targets and red-zone touches.

5. De’Von Achane (MIA at SEA)

Achane’s electric speed and role in the Dolphins' offense make him a high-upside play against the Seahawks, who have struggled to contain explosive backs.

6. James Cook (BUF vs. JAC)

Cook has a prime matchup against the Jaguars, and his versatility as a pass-catcher makes him a great option in PPR formats.

7. Derrick Henry (BAL at DAL)

Henry faces a tough Cowboys defense, but his sheer volume and ability to break big plays make him a must-start. Expect a bounce-back game.

8. Jonathan Taylor (IND vs. CHI)

Taylor’s physicality and the Colts' run-heavy game plan should result in a productive outing against the Bears' weak run defense.

9. Kyren Williams (LAR vs. SF)

Williams has been a surprise breakout, and while the 49ers are tough against the run, his volume in both the running and passing game keeps him in RB2 territory.

10. Zack Moss (CIN vs. WAS)

Moss is now the lead back in Cincinnati, and while his production has been up and down, Washington presents a favorable matchup for him to break out.

11-20: Rhamondre Stevenson, Tony Pollard, Jahmyr Gibbs, Josh Jacobs, Brian Robinson Jr., Travis Etienne Jr., David Montgomery, Zach Charbonnet, Aaron Jones, James Conner

Wide Receiver Week 2 Rankings

1. CeeDee Lamb (DAL vs. BAL)

Lamb has been the primary option for Dak Prescott and will continue to be in this matchup. He’s a must-start WR1 against Baltimore’s secondary.

2. Ja’Marr Chase (CIN vs. WAS)

Chase is poised for a redemption week after a slow start to the season. Expect Burrow to feed him often against Washington’s defense.

3. Justin Jefferson (MIN vs. HOU)

Jefferson is matchup-proof, and against the Texans, he should continue to rack up targets and yards. He’s a top-three option.

4. Amon-Ra St. Brown (DET at ARI)

St. Brown continues to be a target hog for the Lions, and against the Cardinals' weaker secondary, he’s set up for a big game.

5. Tyreek Hill (MIA at SEA)

Hill’s speed will be tough for Seattle to handle. He’s always a threat to break a long touchdown, making him a top WR option in any given week.

6. Mike Evans (TB vs. DEN)

Evans is the clear No. 1 option in Tampa, and against a vulnerable Broncos defense, he should see plenty of high-value targets.

7. Brandon Aiyuk (SF at LAR)

Aiyuk has quietly been one of the most consistent WRs this season. In this divisional matchup, expect Purdy to target him heavily.

8. Chris Olave (NO vs. PHI)

Olave’s route-running and volume make him a great play in a game where the Saints may need to throw often against Philadelphia.

9. Garrett Wilson (NYJ vs. NE)

Wilson’s chemistry with Aaron Rodgers hasn’t fully developed, but his talent alone keeps him in the top-10 conversation, even in a tough matchup.

10. Rashee Rice (KC at ATL)

Rice has been emerging as Mahomes’ go-to WR. In what should be a high-scoring game against the Falcons, he’s a strong WR2 with WR1 upside.

11-20: Davante Adams, DeVonta Smith, Chris Godwin, DK Metcalf, Drake London, Zay Flowers, Amari Cooper, George Pickens, Malik Nabers, Terry McLaurin

Tight End Week 2 Rankings

1. George Kittle (SF at LAR)

Kittle’s ability to rack up yards after the catch and his role in San Francisco’s offense makes him the top TE option this week.

2. Trey McBride (ARI vs. DET)

McBride has been a consistent target for the Cardinals, and with a favorable matchup against Detroit, he’s a great play in Week 3.

3. Sam LaPorta (DET at ARI)

LaPorta continues to establish himself as Goff’s favorite red-zone target, making him a strong TE1 option in Week 3.

4. Travis Kelce (KC at ATL)

Kelce remains an elite tight end, and against a Falcons defense that has struggled against the position, he’s a locked-in TE1.

5. Mark Andrews (BAL at DAL)

Andrews is a key red-zone target for Lamar Jackson and will be heavily involved in what should be a competitive game against Dallas.

6. Brock Bowers (LV vs. CAR)

Bowers has been getting more involved in the Raiders’ offense and should see plenty of targets against Carolina.

7. Dalton Kincaid (BUF vs. JAC)

Kincaid’s athleticism and role in Buffalo’s high-powered offense make him a solid TE1 option this week.

8. Kyle Pitts (ATL vs. KC)

Pitts has struggled to produce this season, but his talent and the potential for a high-scoring game keep him in the TE1 conversation.

9. Isaiah Likely (BAL at DAL)

Likely has shown flashes of playmaking ability, and with the Ravens needing to pass, he’s a sneaky TE2 option this week.

10. Dalton Schultz (HOU at MIN)

Schultz has been a reliable option for the Texans, and in a matchup against the Vikings, he’s a solid TE2 with TE1 upside.

11-20: Dallas Goedert, Jake Ferguson, Cole Kmet, Hunter Henry, Pat Freiermuth, Zach Ertz, Taysom Hill, Noah Fant, Tyler Conklin, Gerald Everett
